A Senior Journey for Gold
--Are you a Senior Girl Scout?
--Are you planning to earn your Gold Award?
--Do you have an interest in global issues pertaining to food, hunger, and/or sustainable living?

If you answered YES to these questions this series is for you.
Join other Senior Girl Scouts on a Journey to prepare for earning your Gold Award. This 6-week series will assist you in earning your Sow What? Journey, which is the first step in earning your Gold Award. You will learn valuable project management skills that you will put to use in planning an event for younger girls. At the end of this 6-week series you will have learned and practiced valuable project management skills to assist you on your Gold Award, through high school, and beyond.
To complete the journey award requirements Seniors will plan and facilitate a workshop for younger girl scouts; this workshop is scheduled for Sunday, May 5th. Journey session will be facilitated by a volunteer with a background in both clinical nutrition and project management.

When: Tuesdays: March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 5:45 PM - 7:45 PM
Sunday: May 5th 2:00p.m. - 6:30p.m.
Where: Mary Nichols' Family Leadership Center
                  One week we will meet at an off-site location, details will be given at first meeting.
Cost: $15.00 per Girl Scout; $27.00 per non-girl member
(Cost of Journey book, patches, and snacks are included in the program)
