Kevin Carroll, author of What's Your Red Rubber Ball?! and creator of
the exhibit The Art of Sport and Play,
will work with participants to learn the power of authentic storytelling.
Participants also will have the opportunity to develop a story based on their
workshop is in conjunction with Carroll’s first exhibition, a personal look at
selected pieces of memorabilia gathered from his travels around the world. The
heart of the collection is a group of handcrafted balls, created by children
with found materials from their native lands. Sponsored by the University of
Oklahoma Division of Student Affairs and Sooner Parents, The Art of Sport +
Play tells a story about the universal power of sport.
