High Adventure Team
High Adventure Team (H.A.T) is an action-oriented group of older Girl Scouts who are seeking exciting, stimulating activities to challenge their capabilities, broaden their horizons, and increase their self-esteem. It is for girls age 11-17 and in grades 6-12. There is a $3 annual fee to be a member of HAT. Members often participate in rock climbing, scuba diving, canoeing and other similar activities. As HAT events are planned, they will be posted here for information and registration. Join Our New Climbing Club!
When: 6:30pm to 8:30pm - Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Attend as many or as few meeting as you like.
Where: Rocktown in Downtown Oklahoma City
Who: Girls ages 11 to 17 and adults, who are registered Girl Scouts and members of HAT
Cost: A Day Pass and shoe rental is $12. We will provide the harnesses. If you are 14 years old or older, you’ll have to take the belay class during your first visit, which costs $5. Adults who would like to come and belay are only required to pay for the belay class. There is no additional cost for joining the club.
Description: Girls are invited to come out and climb the walls at Rocktown in downtown Oklahoma City. Trained volunteer are available to supervise and instruct the girls while they practice climbing and bouldering. Girls of all skill levels are welcome.
